Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Prism Business Solutions AI receptionist service ("Service") provided by Prism Business Solutions LLC ("Prism," "we," "us"). By signing up, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Prism provides an AI-powered phone receptionist that answers calls on behalf of your business, books appointments, and relays messages. You are responsible for configuring the assistant via the onboarding form and forwarding your business phone line to the dedicated number we provide.

2. Trial and billing

  • 7-day free trial. No charge for the first 7 days. Card is captured at signup.
  • $100/month recurring subscription after the trial. Billed automatically via Stripe.
  • Cancel anytime. You can cancel through the billing portal. Cancellations during the trial are not charged. Cancellations as a paying customer keep the service active through the end of the current billing period (no prorated refund).

3. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate business information during onboarding so the AI performs correctly.
  • Forward calls to the dedicated number we provide. We can't answer calls we don't receive.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, including call-recording consent laws in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for any required notifications to your callers.
  • Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes, fraud, harassment, or to impersonate another business.

4. Phone numbers

The phone number assigned to your account is provisioned through our telephony partner (Twilio) and is licensed to you for the duration of your subscription. The number is not portable out of our service. Upon cancellation, the number is released after any applicable grace period.

5. Uptime and service quality

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee perfect service. The AI is a best-effort tool — it may occasionally mishandle calls, mishear callers, or fail to pick up during service provider outages. You are responsible for validating information before acting on AI-generated summaries (e.g. confirming appointment details with the caller before dispatching a technician).

6. Content and recordings

Call recordings, transcripts, and summaries generated by the AI belong to you. We have a limited license to process them for the purpose of operating the Service and improving quality. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Termination

You can cancel anytime via the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or are unpaid beyond the retry window.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRISM IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM UNDER THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Prism Business Solutions LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the primary account contact.
